Gateway 500S BT (GW52MO2) support issues

A. Differerences between the GW500 (GW51MO2) and the GW500S BT (GW52MO2)

- Gateway 500S BT has a Built-in Bluetooth (HFP + A2DP) module

- Gateway 500S BT is compatible TEXT display capable cars only

- Gateway 500S BT charges by 1A (power booster is not required)

Compatibility differences:

The old Gateway 500 supports the following applications (GW500S BT does not):

- Aston Martin DB9

- BMW 7 series (E65/E66)

- Mercedes with Audio 20/50 or Comand with END/SEND buttons

- Rolls-Royce Phantom

- Porsche with CDR23/24

- Volvo S40/V50 and XC90

- Saab 9-3 and 9-5

B. Gateway Pro BT iPod/iPhone/iPad compatibility
